I saw one generation of inbreeding in the near by street dogs . I was pained because inbreeding leads to health defects which makes the harsh street life harder to bear with. This time around 13 puppies were born in late December. Barring one female pup, all the others have been taken. Even due to my advertisement two inbred males with a bit of awkward standing posture as well as clumsy walking gaits have also been adopted. I sincerely pray that by next autumn my favorite leading male canine gets ousted. In that way I would lose my favorite, but the clan will be saved from further deterioration. I have located three potential challengers within a radius of 1 km, but luring them into the zone will be tricky. I don’t wish an elaborate bloodbath. And the resident male is stubborn and is still in his prime. Let’s see ! Nature will set it’s own course !
